Britain pays wind farms to switch off while approved clean power sits unbuilt, because the grid between where power is generated and where it is used has not kept up. Every pound on this site is caused by that gap — not by the wind farms themselves. The same page that shows what your constituency was paid to not generate always shows what it has already approved and is still waiting to build. If the numbers make you angry, the fix is wires.
